This wand save has a shoulder to protect your aluminum wand to prevent the softer aluminum from shearing off at the thread. Instead of using thread-lock to install this wand saver, use non-drying liquid Teflon. This is not a general pump brand quick connect but does marry up to general pump brand quick connect products.
